Field Technician/Site Inspector – Full Time – Houston, Texas

KIT Professionals, Inc.   • Conduct site inspections to assess and document environmental or other hazardous conditions using mobile based technologies.
  • Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations and pipelines
  • Monitor, record and inspect progress on construction projects
  • Conduct or coordinate field materials sampling and testing
  • Superior customer service skill set, ability to listen, facilitate and negotiate problems.
  • Ability to sit/ stand and walk for long periods of time. Crouching, lifting light objects, and walking on uneven grounds is frequently required.
  • Work is performed in a field environment. Must be comfortable working outside in various weather conditions.


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Organized, determined, and resourceful; demonstrate a sense of urgency while accurately and safety performing the work.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Real Estate or Construction inspection experience is a plus.

Civil Engineer 2 – Full Time – Houston, Texas; Dallas, Texas

KIT Professionals, Inc. is a Houston-based civil/environmental consulting engineering firm that specializes in water infrastructure engineering. KIT has a full-time opportunity for a Civil Engineer with experience in permitting with the City of Houston or document control for construction management. This individual will have direct contact with the permitting agencies and will be expected to work full time at the construction site.


  • Reviewing plans pertaining to agencies permitting criteria
  • Preparing permit application documents
  • Scheduling and facilitating coordination meetings with agencies
  • Coordinating with the design engineers for agency comment adjudication
  • Maintaining and organizing permitting documentation on Aconex and Sharepoint
  • Presenting information to the client in an effective concise way
  • Provides permitting support for construction services


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Fundamentals of Engineering or EIT preferred
  • 3-5 years permitting or document control for construction management experience
  • Familiar with water and wastewater treatment plant infrastructure and construction


Pursuit/Proposal Coordinator

KIT Professionals, Inc., a Houston-based civil/environmental consulting engineering firm that specializes in water infrastructure engineering, has a full-time opportunity for a Pursuit/Proposal Coordinator with experience in the Architecture/Engineering profession. This individual will support the strategic development and implementation of client and opportunity pursuit plans, and the development of proposals, presentations, and other business development materials. The Pursuit/Proposal Coordinator will work with client teams to engage and interface with clients and potential clients in business development initiatives.


  • Oversees/conducts planning, editing, and production of content for proposals, statements of qualifications, presentations, etc.
  • Maintains marketing database on projects and prospective jobs/clients
  • Creates and prepares client and pursuit specific materials for positioning meetings as part of the capture planning process as needed
  • Maintains an up-to-date awareness of creative marketing tools, digital communications, and social media and uses this information to help the firm communicate effectively with innovation
  • Coordinates development of general marketing documents, handouts, promotional materials, etc.
  • Supports outreach efforts, such as project and firm award submittals, client events, white paper or presentation development, tradeshows, and public relations efforts


  • Bachelor degree in English, Communications,  Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of A/E/C industry experience as a marketing, proposal, or business development specialist
  • Experience developing and writing proposals; thorough understanding of the Request for Qualifications Process and Request for Proposal processes
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills; must be able to work and communicate effectively with technical and business development team members
  • Experience in persuasive writing and developing features with advantages and benefits
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Adobe Creative Suite Ability to network and connect with clients, teaming partners, and professional organizations as needed


Graduate Level Civil Engineer – Full Time – Houston, Texas ; Dallas, Texas
The primary duties of the EIT is performing detailed design, analysis, engineering calculations, and developing construction documents for a variety of water and wastewater related designs. The EIT will assist in verifying code compliance, quality checks, meeting  project schedules and budget as well as coordinating the civil engineering work with other disciplines and CAD designers. The candidate must have the training and experience to assist project teams for the delivery of various types of water, wastewater, and the other civil infrastructure projects, with graduate responsibility for project delivery and client satisfaction.  The Role will include assisting with the preparation of planning and design deliverables, technical problem solving, preparing and monitoring project budgets and schedules, and providing reviews and guidance to assure discipline and quality standards are adhered to. Must be capable of effective communication; work in a team oriented manner and posses analytical and organizational skills.


  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
  • EIT Required
  • 0-2 years of design experience
  • Water/wastewater background preferred
  • Computer Knowledge ( Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar analytical software )
  • Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain professional registration.
