Project Engineer – (Dallas, TX)

Develop design calculations, plans, reports, and specifications for a variety of water and wastewater treatment, pipelines, lift stations and pump station projects. Coordinate design issues with the team, and facilitate resolution of inter-discipline issues. Conduct engineering evaluations, determine alternative designs and provide overall design coordination to ensure client expectations and contract obligations are met. Experience in water and wastewater treatment and master planning, water distribution modeling using WaterGEMS, hydraulic, hydrologic, and water quality simulation modeling using InfoWorks and InfoSWMM, drainage modeling using HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS models and facilities condition assessment and damage cost estimation using RS Means tool is required. Experience in ArcGIS and AutoCAD is a plus. Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering with minimum 3 years of relevant experience and EIT certification is required.

Project Engineer – (Houston, TX)

Define & develop project and design plans, scope, goals, specifications and deliverables for a variety of Infrastructure Projects.  Plan, schedule and track project timelines, manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Review Client specifications and provide and perform engineering/process design, project coordination, determine and write final engineering specifications. Coordinate design issues with the team, and facilitate resolution of inter-discipline issues. Provide planning and scheduling of resource requirements for project technical tasks. Conduct engineering evaluations, determine alternative designs and provide overall design coordination to ensure client expectations and contract obligations are met. Produce reports to ensure technical consistency and inclusion of appropriate documentation. Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with 2 years of experience in drainage and water modeling using XPSWMM, WaterCAD and H&H models is required.

Civil Engineer – Houston, Texas:

KIT Professionals, Inc. is a Texas-based civil/environmental consulting engineering firm that specializes in municipal infrastructure engineering.  We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a full time Civil Engineer position in our Houston, Texas office. The position candidate must have the training and experience to assist project teams for the delivery of various types of water, wastewater, and the other civil infrastructure projects, with growth future responsibility for project delivery and client satisfaction. The position candidate must be capable of effective communication; working in a team-oriented manner with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed design, analysis, engineering calculations and develop construction documents for various civil infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare, plan and design deliverables, technical problem solving, prepare and monitor project budgets and schedules.
  • Prepare and coordinate technical documents using industry software programs.
  • Develop and implement civil engineering strategies to comply with City, County, State and Federal permitting requirements.

Qualifications:

Graduate Level Civil Engineer – Houston, Texas ; Dallas, Texas

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparation of planning studies and technical reports
  • Prepare engineering designs with supporting calculations
  • Prepare drawings including CADD based drawings
  • Analysis of field information
  • Conduct facility assessments, system testing and pilot testing

Qualifications:

  • Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering or related study field.  Masters degreed candidates will be considered.
  • EIT Certification required
  • 0-3 years of design experience
  • Municipal water/wastewater background preferred
  • Computer Knowledge (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar analytical software)
  • Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain professional registration.
